Relive a defining chapter in the history of World War II with this docudrama detailing the week-long stand-off that began when a German battleship fired on a Polish command post in the Westerplatte peninsula in the early hours of September 1, 1939. In the seven days that followed, two Polish commanders made the difficult decision to defy the odds, and show Hitler's troops that they would not go down without a fight.
