Synopsis by Perry Seibert
Along with Red Heroine, Swordswoman of Huangjiang is one of the very few Chinese marital arts film still in existence from the late '20s and early '30s. Chen Zhi-gong and her brother were a popular pair of characters that appeared in a series of films. In this story, the pair arrive in a town and agree to save a small child who has been abducted by a falcon. After slaying the bird, Chen Zhi-gong's donkey is stolen. She battles with, and eventually makes friends with the person who stole the donkey. Those two, along with Chen's brother then prepare to take on a gang of criminals. That event was shown in a later film, which sadly no longer exists.
