Day Four dawns on the Micronesian island of Palau, and, the tradition of Survivor seasons past, one of the twenty contestants has been voted out of the game: in this instance, Jon Dalton, previously seen on Survivor: Pearl Islands. Thus, the "all-fan" Airai tribe outnumbers the "all-favorites" Malkalal tribe, though this is bound to change soon. The Reward/Immunity Challenge involves swimming, a few axes, five keys and a locked box: The Reward itself consists of a boat and fishing equipment. Elsewhere, romance blooms for two of the couples on the island; and Joel Anderson of the Airais is emerging as a master manipulator.
