Erik Reichenbach thought he'd persuade the female contestants to forgive him his past transgressions by forfeiting his immunity--and as a result, he is booted off Palau Island just Survivor: Micronesia-Fans vs. Favorites enters the home stretch on Day 37. The remaining four players--all women--must prove their mettle in two Immunity Challenges, the first involving a bamboo chute and a symbolic flag-raising (among other things), the second requiring the players to manipulate a compartmentalized wooden cylinder for an extended length of time. With both Natalie Bolton and audience favorite Cirie Fields failing to make the final cut, only two (rather than the traditional three) remain to compete for the position of Sole Survivor: Amanda Kimmel and Parvati Shallow. But before the final decision is made, there is ample time for a member of the eight-person jury to make a touching declaration of love.
