Despite her father's disapproval, Jan and Steve get married and start living a happy life together. This all ends abruptly, however, after an unfortunate car accident. As Jan is left to deal with the loss of her husband, she reminisces the start of their relationship, the hurdles they faced together, and how they first fell in love. With these precious memories, she begins the healing process and learns to find comfort in family and her faith in God.
