Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Louis King, the lesser known brother of Fox director Henry King, helmed this inexpensive William Fairbanks Western in which the athletic star rescues the girl he loves from a frameup. The girl's father is accused of robbing the stage, but Fairbanks suspects a notorious outlaw. In retaliation, the latter now blames Fairbanks for the crime, and the hero is forced to flee into the hills. The girl's father confesses to having double-crossed the outlaw, and justice is finally served. Written by Daniel F. Whitcomb and Wilbur C. Tuttle, Sun Dog Trails was produced by Benjamin F. Wilson and released to the hinterlands only by Arrow.
