In this slight drama, Martin (Jaan Tate) is the lead actor of a small theatrical troupe. He is so besotted by, and distracted by, and guilty over his affair with the director's wife, Melissa (Epp Eespaev), that whenever she appears in the theater he fluffs his lines. Since this happens with considerable regularity, the troupe is forced to employ a prompter to feed him his lines from underneath the stage.
