Synopsis by Mark Deming
A woman meets Mr. Right at exactly the wrong time in the romantic comedy Sufflosen. Siv (Hege Schoyen), a prompter for a Norweigen opera company, is a woman who's been looking for love when not indulging her passion for music. She meets and weds a successful physician (Sven Nordin) who has two children, but the marriage starts to fall apart almost from the start, especially when the doctor lets his ex-wife move back into the house. Just when Siv realizes she's chained herself to the wrong man, she happens to meet a tuba player with warmth, sensitivity and a sense of humor (Philip Zanden) who steals her heart away. Sufflosen was well-received both critically and commercially on it's initial release in Norway.
