Fantastic dreams blend with harsh realities in this Mexican drama featuring popular actor Pedro Romo. Young Julian Lopez is convinced that the source of his parent's woes lays in his family's economic despair, and the determined youngster vows to earn the money that will bring happiness back into their home by becoming a famous bullfighter. Running away to pursue his dream, Julian's journey eventually leads him to "The Monumental," the most famous bullfighting ring in all of Mexico. The moment his triumph lands him at the top of the incredibly competitive sport, Julian awakes to discover that, unfortunately, reality is not so kind to the well intended.
