Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
Lejla is a modern woman with a good, happy life. She has a pleasant fiancé and a job as a concert violinist. However, when her eccentric old father becomes disabled following an accident, the obstreperous old coot so antagonizes all the nurses who come to take care of him that eventually no one is willing to do so. Lejla is forced to assume the responsibility for him, and must quit her job to do so. Her fiancé, too, plays the skunk and leaves her at this time. A pigeon fancier, the old man's pet birds live in his room with him, creating an awful mess. Eventually, these stresses prove too much for her.
