Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Felicia Day (Constance Binney) is a lonely girl who is sheltered from the world by her guardian and old-fashioned grandfather. One day, she climbs over the garden wall, and Dudley Hamilt (a very young Rod La Roque) steals a kiss from her. The grandfather uses this as an excuse to take her away to a remote cottage in the woods. But she and the boy never forget each other, and eventually they meet again when she is dancing for a charity event (Binney originally found fame as a dancer). A theatrical manager takes a liking to her, but Dudley saves her from his amorous advances and keeps her for himself. This film was based on a novel, Little Miss By-the-Day by Lucille Van Slyke.
