In the future, wars are not waged by hundreds or thousands of soldiers fighting one giant battle: they are fought by cute young girls, one on one. Each nation picks a representative to pilot a robotic fighter, and at the end of the battle, the victorious girl wins the war for her country. The only problem is that finding the perfect girl for the fight can be tricky. This is why eventually, someone gets the bright idea to search not just through society but through time, and out of the past comes Yamamoto Yohko. She packs a mean punch and she lacks any sense of modesty: she's sure to fit right in.
