Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Dwight Schultz, formerly the near-psycho "Howling Mad" Murdock on The A-Team, guest stars as the equally "disturbed" Enterprise crewman Lt. Reg Barclay. Feeling persecuted by his superiors, Barclay acts out his frustrations in the Holodeck, all the while neglecting his usual duties. Barclay's self-indulgence has serious consequences when a cannister containing a dangerous element seeps into the warp engines.
