Many of the secrets that help create the ever popular magazine issue are revealed in the nearly one hour running time. Members of the editorial staff and photographers responsible for the images discuss how models are selected and the process for deciding who will be the cover girl. Two music and video montages show many of the now famous photos of models like Elle MacPhereson, Christie Brinkley and Cheryl Tiegs. Several models are also interviewed about their experiences as an SI swimsuit issue alumnist.
