Synopsis by Rob Ferrier

Spies is a video series dedicated to the secret wars that have raged through the past decades. Through archival footage, interviews with key players, and excerpts from unpublished memoirs and recently declassified sources, this series attempts to put a human face on the missions of men and women, who, until now, have lurked in the shadows. Material from the archives of the CIA, FBI, KGB, and Mossad are used extensively. "Hitler's Spies in America" covers the use of the double agent that helped the FBI dismantle a Nazi spy ring in America. "Spy, Counterspy!" profiles Kaarlo Tuomi and Arkady Shevchenko, Soviets who came to work for U.S. Intelligence.
