In the year 038 of the New Cosmic Century, the Earth is attacked by an alien race known as the Orbital Ring System. The aliens have taken complete control of Earth, separating it from the other colonized planets in the galaxy. The only hope for Earth's citizens is a space pirate crew headed by Hayabusha Jetter. They smuggle vital supplies across the border between Earth and other planets, working towards a larger resistance in the hope of shaking off the alien controls once and for all.
