Synopsis by Perry Seibert
This exceedingly irreverent (even by South Park standards) episode features a very funny satirization of Judy Blume's classic novel Are You There God? It's Me Margaret. When Eric suffers from rectal bleeding, he believes he has entered puberty (it's actually an infection). Upset about his lack of physical maturity, Stan convinces mad Dr. Mephisto to expedite the onset of puberty. Not surprisingly, things don't go well, but God puts everything straight in the end. "Are You There God? It's Me, Jesus" first aired December 29, 1999, on Comedy Central.
