For years singer/songwriter Lyle Lovett has been championed as one of modern country & western music's most reliable and sincere stalwarts; now fans who have yet to experience Lovett live and in person can see the next best thing as he brings his memorable act to the Soundstage. Backed by a 26-piece orchestra and a 16-piece band, Lovett is also joined by popular singer/songwriter Randy Newman for a series of tunes including some from his latest effort Smile. As the performance draws to a raucous close, Lovett is also joined by trumpet man Mark Isham as he expands his set to include a series of gospel classics!
