Synopsis by Janiss Garza

In this farce, the newly-wed Robert Ellis (Clifford Gray) almost immediately separates from his bride, so he asks his misogynistic friend, Patrick Murphy (Owen Moore) to locate her and bring her back. The girl Murphy finds is Edna Ellis (Seena Owen), and only when he takes her to the Ellis home does he find out that she's not Mrs. Ellis. To save her reputation, he claims that he has married her. Eventually, Ellis comes home, as does his wife (Amy Dennis), and Murphy has no choice but to give up his woman-hating ways and marry Edna, who he has come to love anyway. Ironically, in March, 1920, when this film was released, Owen Moore was divorced from film star Mary Pickford (who immediately turned around and wed Douglas Fairbanks).
