Synopsis by Jason Buchanan

The Heart of the Game director Ward Serrill teams-up with What the Bleep Do We Know producer Betsy Chasse to profile Nashville country singer-turned -mystic Tom Kenyon, whose profound paranormal experience on the morning of his 40th birthday let him on an illuminating quest to understand the transformative effects of sound on the human brain. Initially turning to such religions as Tibetan Buddhism, Shamanism, and Taoism to find the meaning behind his life-altering experience, Kenyon ultimately found answers in the realm of science -- specifically neurophysiology, which involves the study of the human nervous system. In time Kenyon's studies revealed that sound not only has the power to alter brain states, but to promote healing as well. This is the story of Kenyon's incredible journey to enlightenment, and his attempt to share his uplifting discovery with all of humanity.
