Synopsis

A profile of South African anti-apartheid lawyer Albie Sachs, who endured solitary confinement and was then forced into exile. In 1988, while in Mozambique, he lost an arm from a car bomb that was planted by South African security forces. He eventually helped draft the new South African constitution and was one of the first 11 judges to the new Constitutional Court.
