Synopsis

The 1947 short details the exploits of Joe McDoakes (George O'Hanlon), an aspiring thespian who, after taking acting lessons via mail-order recordings, lands a small role in a movie. Joe incurs the wrath of the director when he performs his part using the voices of famous film stars Charles Boyer and Ronald Colman. Narrated by Art Gilmore.
