Synopsis by Janiss Garza

When Hannibal Pillsbury (David Butler) loses his job as cook at a lumber camp, he goes down to New York's Greenwich Village and buys a restaurant with ex-socialite Alice Drydon (Leatrice Joy). They make a success of the restaurant, but Hannibal is too bashful to make a success of their romance. Andrew Cadman (Parker J. McConnell), Hannibal's former boss and Alice's former suitor, shows up and invites Alice to come to his yacht. His intentions are less than pure, and when Hannibal finds this out, he swims out to the yacht and climbs on. His bashfulness disappears and he proposes to Alice, who accepts. This picture was directed by Butler's father, Fred J. Butler, and David himself would also go on to become a director.
