Despite its title, the British game show Sky Runners did not air over the Sky One satellite service, but was instead telecast by the "traditional" earthbound ITV service. Essentially Treasure Hunt with helicopters, the series featured an attractive team of female pilots, or "skyrunners," who followed a labyrinthine trail of clues toward a valuable treasure. The copters were guided by famous British politicians, and the money earned was given over to charity. Sky Runners originally aired in 1992.
