Synopsis by Violet LeVoit
A Hong Kong detective (Jackie Chan) hunts for a glib American gambler (Johnny Knoxville) who has information regarding the disappearance of his goddaughter (Fan Bingbing). But his plans for revenge are derailed when the gambler hints that he knows the whereabouts of the crime kingpin he's been tracking for years. Skiptrace marks the final film of cinematographer and longtime Jackie Chan collaborator Chan Kwok-Hung, who drowned while on a shoot for the movie.
