This exercise video uses Tai Chi, the martial art practiced to improve health and reduce stress, to prepare the viewer for the sport of skiing. Through a series of Tai Chi-based warm-ups and exercises, Ski Conditioning With Tai Chi attempts to develop the body and mind to make those days spent on the slopes a more enjoyable experience. The program includes a number of excerpts from a body mechanics seminar, as well as a detailed analysis of ski turns with corresponding Tai Chi movements to help snow bunnies stay flexible and avoid injury. The 45-minute lesson also delivers tips on how to begin using Tai Chi in everyday life situations.
