Synopsis by Sandra Brennan
Twelve-year-old Sammy is the new kid in town. He desperately wants to fit in with the others, but no one seems terribly interested in befriending him until he devises a magical skateboard. With his new sidewalk surfboard, Sammy can literally fly. He soon finds himself and his invention scouted by a representative from a skateboard manufacturer. Unfortunately, not all the attention he gets is positive. Some of the other town thrashers get angry at the high-flying hotshot's antics while an avaricious businessman is also after the dynamic new board. Adventure, and many exciting stunts follow on the day of the big local tourney.
