Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Universal's rustic Western ace Hoot Gibson joined the circus in this mildly amusing comedy-oater written and directed by Edward Sedgwick. Innocently dragged into a crooked poker game, Hector "Goofy" MacKnight (Gibson) is advised to leave town. He joins a circus belonging to Ruth Randolph (Elinor Field), who is in possession of one-half of a treasure map. Although the treasure turns out to contain nothing more than some prehistoric bones, Goofy wins praise for capturing the crook who held the other part of the map.
