Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Silent western hero Jack Hoxie assumes the guise of an avenging angel called "Whitehorse Cactus" when his father is killed during a dispute over water rights with a large corporation. He tracks down the killer, a hired gunslinger from back East (Frank Newberg) and then confronts the water company owner (J. Russell Gordon). When the man is found murdered shortly thereafter, "Whitehorse" is arrested. The real killer is quickly apprehended, however, and "Whitehorse" is reunited with childhood sweetheart Belle (Helen Holmes), the murdered man's daughter. Hoxie, whose many talents did not include acting, was second only to Hoot Gibson among Universal's many cowboy stars.
