Synopsis by Dan DiSciulo
Romanian auteur Cristi Puiu directs this black comedy about a large family gathered to commemorate their patriarch's recent death. Set almost entirely in the Bucharest apartment of his mother, forty-something physician Lary Mimi Branescu goes to the dinner to honor his father but instead has his own lifestyle challenged by the other guests, causing him to reconsider his place in the family.
