Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

The second of four silent Cliff Lyons Westerns filmed on location in Kernville, California, in 1928, this film starred the stunt-man turned Western hero as Larry O'Connell, a heroic lawman chasing down a gang of platinum thieves headed by the vicious Jeff Bains (Lew Meehan). Peggy O'Day was the ubiquitous damsel in distress, with Houston Ellis, Ed LaNiece, and Cheyenne Bill (real name: William McKechnie) heading the supporting cast. African-American funnyman Martin Turner provided comedy relief. Lyons billed himself "Tex Lyons" for this series which was produced by Morris R. Schlank's Anchor Productions.
