Chaturbhuj Doshi directs this mythological drama about the creative and destructive power of female sexuality. The film centers on Shankar (Arun), a godlike dancer at the Hindu pantheon, who performs the dance of death following his beloved wife Sati's suicide caused by her father's cruel taunting. Later, Shankar comes out of retirement to thwart the evil Tarakasura, and learns that his wife has been reincarnated as the beautiful Parvati (Sadhona Bose). After a series of complications, the two are reunited by the god Vishnu.
