Synopsis by Rebecca Flint Marx

It's a case of instant karma for Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) when, in addition to getting snubbed in a restaurant by Big's (Chris Noth) wife, Natasha (Bridget Moynahan), her favorite pair of Manolo Blahniks are taken by a mugger. And if this isn't enough, the cute detective (Timothy Gibbs) who's supposed to be handling Carrie's case wavers in his dedication to justice when he meets Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and begins to dedicate his attentions to her instead. After Samantha (Kim Cattrall) informs Carrie that Natasha (Bridget Moynahan) has left Big, Carrie, wracked with even more guilt than she had been previously, hunts down Natasha in a restaurant and makes a profound apology, one that is met with even more profound hostility. Samantha, meanwhile, makes an equally profound mistake by seducing a college boy (Jacob Pitts), who duly becomes her obsessed stalker. Charlotte (Kristin Davis) finds relief from her marital woes in the muscular arms of the McDougal family's gardener (Steve Richard Harris); unfortunately, her bliss is cut short when Trey's (Kyle MacLachlan) sister catches the two of them together and proceeds to tell her entire family. Following an angry confrontation with her husband, Charlotte leaves the family estate and returns to the city, where she is met by the empty silence of her old apartment.
