Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) is a bit strapped for cash when she finds herself dating a well-known French architect, who decides to show his gratitude for a pleasant evening with a gift of 1,000 dollars, leaving Carrie with very mixed feelings. Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) is still dating Skipper (Ben Weber), but while she's interested in him, Carrie learns he's a great deal more interested in Miranda. And Charlotte becomes infatuated with Neville (Charles Keating), a successful artist, but isn't sure if her admiration will outweigh her modesty when he asks her to pose nude for him.
