Synopsis by Mark Deming

A city is in the grip of a particularly bizarre and bloodthirsty serial killer in this tale of horror and suspense starring Vanessa Sanchez, known to wrestling fans as Tygress from the old WCW franchise. A community is on the edge of panic after reports of a number of grisly murders in which unsuspecting victims found themselves decapitated. After a pair of law enforcement officers become the killer's next victims, Martin Blake (Peter Reh), a former FBI agent turned private investigator, is called in to track down the fiend. Working alongside Blake is Evangelina (Vanessa Sanchez), a woman well versed with the practices of the occult, and together they investigate the dark world of voodoo and the supernatural. Severed was the first film for writer and director Matt Green.
