Synopsis
Part 3 (of 13) introduces Karla, a fifth-year senior with big problems---and a big ally in a dean who gets her into a support group. Jean joins a support group, too---to support a troubled Russian-born teen. Not that Jean's own troubles regarding his father (and his relationship with Maria) have gone away. Meanwhile, Jen describes her own dad woes, and Kendra visits the intersection where she was hit. As for Derard, the football losses pile up. "He's heartbroken," says his dad.
