Five factions exist within Haldwell, an elite boarding school in Pennsylvania, and Selah Summers (Lovie Simone) rules the most dominant of them. When Selah loses her best friend and right hand Maxxie (Jharrel Jerome) to love, tensions begin to appear among the groups. She quickly takes in Paloma (Celeste O'Connor) as a protégé, teaching her all the things she needs to know to control the school. With Paloma learning fast and graduation approaching, Selah begins to feel that she is losing something that has defined her for so long. Written and directed by Tayarisha Poe.
