Synopsis by Matthew Tobey
When Jerry begins dating a Miss America pageant contestant, Kramer takes the woman under his wing and becomes her coach. Meanwhile, George fights for his big plan to have the Yankees revert from polyester uniforms back to cotton ones, and Elaine finds work as an assistant to an eccentric executive after she takes advantage of his long-standing relationship with the late Jackie Onassis. Along with guest appearances by Yankees manager Buck Showalter and player Danny Tartabull, this episode includes the introduction of the character of Elaine's boss Mr. Pitt, played by Ian Abercrombie. Originally airing September 22, 1994, "The Chaperone" was the show's sixth-season opener.
