Elaine finally realizes that her new beau, "Crazy" Joe Davola, is off his rocker, although she and Jerry have yet to put two and two together to discover that they have the same menace in their lives. Both situations come to a head when they attend a performance of the opera Pagliacci and Crazy Joe shows up in a full clown get-up. Meanwhile, George tries to scalp Susan's unused ticket for the opera. Peter Crombie and Heidi Swedberg guest star.
