Synopsis by Matthew Tobey
Despite George's insistence that such a thing is impossible to pull off, Jerry and Elaine put rules in place to allow them to have a sexual relationship while remaining "just friends." Things seem to go off without a hitch until Jerry is faced with determining the appropriate kind of present to buy for Elaine's birthday. Saturday Night Live's Siobhan Fallon guest stars as Tina. Originally airing May 2, 1991, "The Deal" was the 13th episode shot for the second season, despite being the ninth one shown.
