Synopsis by Hal Erickson
This ultra-low-budget melodrama once more warns us to be on guard against the Red Menace. Kent Taylor stars as an outwardly all-American type who is actually a Soviet agent. He insinuates himself into a small town, hoping to win converts to the hammer and sickle. Why, he even prattles on about something called civil rights! (gasp!) Fortunately, Taylor is saved from himself in the nick of time, and at film's end he has embraced the tenets of the Good Ol' USA. Gene Lockhart, Gloria Holden and David Bruce costar in this subtle-as-a-sledgehammer period piece.
