Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
A pregnant misfit contends with her recovering alcoholic mother and hard-partying sister while struggling in the grip of a nervous breakdown. Mona (Eleanore Pienta) is a Brooklyn supermarket clerk in the last trimester of her pregnancy. Unable to relate to her ghetto fabulous coworkers, Mona sees her irresponsible lesbian sister Jordan (Molly Plunk) let a good relationship go to waste as their hypercritical mother May (Dana Eskelson) casts judgment from up on high. Even so, Mona is far from functional, and the closer she gets to her due date, the less that reality seems to factor into her deeply flawed decision-making skills.
