Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
From Dinocroc and Piranha producer Roger Corman comes a skin-crawling tale of nature run amuck that finds an ambitious geneticist and a no-nonsense Delta Force commando doing battle with a giant breed of bugs so menacing that they would send even the Starship Troopers scattering to take cover. A genius geneticist (Jo Bourne-Taylor) is determined to make a name for herself by using the biology of various resilient insects to create powerful human vaccines, but when her project is hi-jacked by the government in order to further advance their own bio-weaponry program, the result is a giant breed of indestructible creatures with a vicious mean streak and a taste for human flesh. With only Major Nick Reynolds (Jeff Fahey) and his combat-ready team of Delta Force soldiers standing between a new breed of terror and certain destruction, the fast-thinking military man must use both his brains and his brawn to outsmart a fierce predator that may ultimately prove to be the next dominant species on planet Earth.
