Synopsis by Rose of Sharon Winter
This documentary relates the story of how Oskar Schindler, a German businessman who used his money and influence to save the lives of hundreds of Jewish people, was condemned to die in Nazi concentration camps. Archival film footage and interviews with Holocaust survivors paint a portrait of Schindler, who stood up to the barbarity of the infamous Nazi, Amon Goeth. An historic interview with Goeth's mistress, just before she took her own life, adds a chilling touch to this true story of a battle between the forces of good and evil.
