Synopsis by Perry Seibert
Lars Berg's Glasskar (Scars) is about an 11-year-old who, in a crisis, proves to be remarkably mature. Viktor (Eirik Evjen) looks up to his hockey-playing older brother, O.K. (Jonas Lauritsen). Viktor and his friends decide to form a rock band in order to get the attention of girls, something O.K. has no trouble doing. After O.K. is diagnosed with a terminal illness, Viktor turns out to be best equipped to keep his family together. Scars was screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
