Synopsis by Tracie Cooper
Directed by Wayne Porter, this film revolves around the history of Sanderson Country, which, despite never having been recognized as a township since its birth in the 1800s, has nevertheless produced a unique culture. The 253-square-mile town is home to 1,591 people, four of which get special attention: Billy Ray, May June, April Jean, and Augusteena. Porter himself plays the role of Billy Ray, while Angie Mattson, M. Sky Burness, and Laura Sherman round out the cast.
