Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Based on a 1924 magazine story by Harrington Strong, this average silent western starred Wally Wales and mustachioed Hank Bell as the title characters, a couple of cowpokes searching for the villain who cheated them out of their ranch. The villain (J. Gordon Russell) hires an assassin (Charles "Slim" Whitaker), who manages to miss both his targets. Meanwhile, the villain's sister (Peggy Montgomery), having fallen in love with Wales, betrays her brother to his pursuers. This was just one in scores of streamlined B-Westerns produced by Lester F. Scott's assembly-line facility Action Pictures.
