Synopsis by Tracie Cooper
UK journalist Jason Farrell takes an in-depth look at the popular and controversial Pamplona Bull Run. Held annually in Pamplona, Spain, The San Fermin Festival famously releases six fighting bulls from a ranch, to the outskirts of the city, and eventually through city streets (where men famously join the run) and into a stadium where they are ritually slaughtered. Steeped in religious and cultural significance, the bull run presents a dilemma for those who care deeply for both animal welfare and tradition.
