Synopsis by Sandra Brennan
Following the break up of his marriage, a Frenchman heads for the Big Apple to start anew. There he begins a passionate affair with a struggling African American model who is trying to leave the ghettos of her youth far behind her. Conflict arises when the Frenchman, fascinated by her Harlem roots, wants to go slumming while she wants to live the upscale life he hates. Eventually he leaves her when he hears that his child back in France was seriously injured.
