Synopsis by Janiss Garza
In this three-reel sequel to 1930's High C's comedian Charley Chase is shown once again as a soldier, released from the brig and returning from World War I with his singing buddies -- and his monkey. Before they even have a chance to think about boarding the ship, their truck drives right off the pier. And that's only the beginning. Charley is faced with a double dilemma -- he has to sneak around his terminally irate commanding officer (Carlton Griffin) and smuggle both his monkey and his French sweetheart, Antoinette (the always adorable Thelma Todd), on ship. While he's able to swing it, keeping them -- and himself -- out of trouble is impossible. They manage to cross the Atlantic without sinking the ship, but just barely!
